The Cutting Collapses are a series of single channel videos that engage with the liminal areas of visual perception through subtle motion. Stop motion techniques animate the process of cutting away pieces of a projection screen according to the architectural qualities of the image. The illusion of depth becomes broken. These works are imaginary time lapses of two dimensional entropy.
