A composition for 1/4 inch magnetic tape. This piece can be performed live with the aid of some very heavy equipment. Bass Clarinet sounds are recorded with vintage tape machines, with the recording levels "in the red" so the original sound becomes electrically altered. This composition considers the manner in which an electronic medium translates acoustic sound. 2011.

Electroacoustic Bass Clarinet Solo and Collaborative Performances. The timbre of the Bass Clarinet is amplified and abstracted with the aid of electronics. Feedback is an essential part of the extended technique, as the body of the instrument becomes a resonant chamber and the pitch of the feedback is controlled with key work.
